Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the autumn conscription for military service.
The document states that 133 thousand citizens will be called up to serve in the Russian military as part of the campaign from October 1 to December 31, 2024.
The relevant regulatory legal act states: “The age of conscripts will be from 18 to 30 years,” as reported on the official website of legal information .
In particular, this concerns Russian males who are not in the reserves.
Earlier, the General Staff of the Russian Federation spoke out as part of the autumn draft.
The agency indicated that conscripts will not be involved in the implementation of tasks that are carried out within the framework of Russia's special operation.
As the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov emphasized, he referred all relevant questions to the country's Ministry of Defense.
The autumn conscription into the Russian army officially begins on October 1, 2024.
