The head of state announced a list of instructions that were formulated after the extended meeting of the Council.
As a strategic development measure, Vladimir Putin instructed departments to consider the issue of preferential lending to telecom operators.
The corresponding resolution was published on the official website of the Kremlin.
As specified in the publication, these measures may affect large cities in Russia where at least 1 million people live.
It is noted that preferential lending can help mobile operators in upgrading telephone networks, as well as increasing the capacity of these networks.
In addition, support measures will help increase the capacity of fourth-generation LTE mobile networks and create new fifth-generation 5G networks.
In addition to cities with a population of over a million, Vladimir Putin's order concerns border and sparsely populated areas of Russia, where problems with communications may still be observed. Such objects also include highways and railways.
