Vladimir Putin warned a number of countries about the possibility of strikes on their military facilities.
Russia has the right to do this in response to the fact that these states allow their weapons to be used to shell Russian territories.
The president made a statement on this topic on Thursday, November 21, during his special address to the citizens of the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti reports.
Moscow has the right to target its weapons at military facilities of those countries that arm Russia’s opponents.
The fact that their missiles are used against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation automatically gives such permission.
“And in the event of an escalation of aggressive actions, we will respond just as decisively and in kind,” the Russian leader emphasized.
This statement was primarily addressed to Great Britain and the United States.
Their long-range Storm Shadow and ATACMS missiles were used the day before for strikes outside the SVO zone.
