Parents began to complain about cameras in the toilet of a children's camp, which were installed without permission.

The mother of one of the students was concerned about video surveillance in the toilet of the health camp, which was not approved by the parents.

The appeal was sent to the Chelyabinsk Region Prosecutor's Office for an investigation, RIA Novosti reports.

During the inspection it was established that video surveillance was conducted in the common areas of children. The cameras did not affect the booths.

The prosecutor's office's statement also emphasized that the cameras were installed in potentially dangerous places, in the washroom areas of toilets for safety.

The placement of the cameras prevents viewing of visits to the booths behind closed doors.

Only authorized officials have access to the monitors.

After the inspection, the director of the children's camp was given a notice for failure to post information about video surveillance on the premises.
