Ombudsman names number of children who drowned in Moscow region since beginning of summer

In connection with this, the number of cases of deaths of people, especially children, in the water is increasing in the Moscow region.
Since the beginning of June, the number of children who have died in water bodies in the Moscow region has reached 10. Details are reported on the Telegram channel of the regional children's rights commissioner Ksenia Mishonova.
It is noted that since the beginning of summer, rescuers have also managed to save 6 children.
According to Mishonova, a large number of children die in hot weather. To prevent tragedy, it is important to combine all efforts and pay special attention to preventive measures.
She recommended that mothers and fathers keep an eye on their children and choose safe beaches for recreation.
The Ombudsman's office concluded that 14 children have died in water in the Moscow region since mid-spring.
