The Russian Emergencies Ministry reports on its official Telegram channel: “Since Friday and over the weekend, 47 people have died, including one child.”
In addition, it is reported that during the specified period, another fifty-eight incidents were recorded.
It is noted that some cases of deaths in the water were found in places not intended for swimming.
In addition, among the dead there were citizens who were intoxicated at the time of the incident.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations warns citizens of the country against swimming in particularly dangerous areas that are not equipped accordingly.
The agency also strongly recommends that necessary safety precautions be observed on the water.
