Another magnetic storm has begun on Earth, of which there have been quite a few recently.

Chief meteorologist of the Moscow Meteorological Bureau Tatyana Pozdnyakova explained why the number of magnetic storms has increased.

According to the expert, what is happening now is not beyond the norm. Previously, it was predicted that the peak of solar activity would occur in 2024-2025, OSN reports.

Pozdnyakova said that the Sun has natural cycles that last 11 years and 22 years.

At certain times, solar activity increases, which leads to an increase in the number of magnetic storms.

We are currently in a period of increased solar activity, which is expected to continue into 2025.

It is expected that the number of magnetic storms in the foreseeable future will also be quite large.

When solar activity decreases, there will be less news about another magnetic storm hitting the Earth.

At the same time, magnetic field disturbances affect people differently. Some are not affected, while others feel unwell.
