A well-known media manager criticized the Unified State Examination (USE) system.

Margarita Simonyan called the Unified State Exam “a mockery of the nation.”

The journalist spoke about this topic at the marathon "Knowledge. First" in Sochi, RIA Novosti reports.

Simonyan noted that the Unified State Exam had potential at the very beginning. But the way this idea was implemented raises questions.

According to Simonyan, the existing system is a real mockery of the nation, children and their parents.

Many schoolchildren experience enormous stress before the Unified State Exam, and failure in the exam can lead to the most disastrous results.

The media manager emphasized that many questions in the Unified State Exam are not at all related to the school curriculum.

Simonyan believes that there are subjects that simply cannot be taken in this format.

She cited literature and history as examples. She called this method of passing these subjects "roulette".

According to the journalist, some questions are formulated in such a way that schoolchildren literally have to guess the answer: “It’s a roulette, it’s just a roulette.”
