Russians were reminded about the upcoming six-day work week.
The six-day work week involves moving the day off to a weekday.
Headhunter labor law specialist and lawyer Olga Vladimirova told RIA Novosti about the six-day week at the end of October.
She explained that the six-day work week is connected with the transfer of the day off on November 2 to the weekday of April 30, 2024.
This is done with the aim of having uninterrupted holidays between April 28 and May 1.
The six-day work week will last from October 28 to November 2.
Then Russians will have two days off - November 3-4. Moreover, Saturday, November 2, will be a shortened working day.
The lawyer emphasized that the weekday became a day off thanks to National Unity Day.
Previously, Russians experienced six working days in April of this year due to the transfer of a day off.
