It has become known which Russians will receive January social payments in December
January payments will be issued in December to those Russians who receive pensions and social benefits from the 3rd to the 8th of each month.
This was stated by Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.
She noted that the majority of the population receives pensions and benefits during the specified period, Lenta.ru reports.
However, payments from January 3 to 8 in the new year fall on holidays.
In this regard, recipients of payments on these dates will receive the funds due to them before the New Year.
Bessarab also reminded that the last week of December will be six days long. This is done so that Russians will have another holiday day off.
Thus, the New Year holidays will last 11 days – from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025.
