Fraudsters still manage to gain people's trust and take their money by deception.
The situation with the pensioner who gave money to fraudsters is a clear example of this.
Fraudsters deceived an elderly woman from Moscow for 27 million rubles. The details are reported by the Agency "Moscow" with reference to the press service of the Moscow prosecutor's office.
It is noted that the fake employees of the energy company convinced the pensioner to give them her SNILS number. After that, she was contacted by alleged employees of the state services, who came up with a story about "black realtors" and convinced the woman to sell the property.
According to the press service, the pensioner believed the fraudsters' words and carried out all the actions. She transferred the funds she received to the scammers.
It was also noted that the total damage amounted to over 26 million rubles.
It is added that the pensioner soon learned of the deception. Work is currently underway to identify the fraudsters.
