In Kurgan Oblast, there will be a fine for persuading pregnant women to have abortions
It has become known about administrative measures taken in the Kurgan region.
If a case of inducing a pregnant woman to have an abortion is discovered here, the culprit will pay a fine.
This information was shared with RIA Novosti journalists by the press service of the regional Duma.
It is noted that on November 26, a law was passed here protecting the rights of pregnant women.
From now on, incitement to termination of pregnancy in the region will be punishable by a fine.
The perpetrators will pay the following amounts depending on their status:
- individual - from 3 to 5 thousand rubles;
- official - 20-50 thousand rubles;
- legal entity - from 100 to 200 thousand rubles.
According to the agency, the corresponding initiative to adopt the law came from a public organization that considers such a step a return to traditional moral and family values.
