Dmitry Guberniev reproached the athletes who refused to go to the Olympics in Paris.
The sports commentator shared his opinion on Telegram.
Guberniev addressed the athletes who could have taken part in the Games but refused.
In his opinion, this decision could become one of the biggest mistakes in their sporting biography.
The commentator himself urged athletes not to miss the chance before the Olympics.
“Oh, swimmers and others, I told you... And the big bosses (and the biggest one) also said... The athletes should have decided,” Guberniev emphasized.
The journalist stated that after all the arguments and discussions, this issue was ultimately “resolved by other uncles and aunties.”
Russians were allowed to participate in the Olympics, but at the same time they put forward a number of controversial requirements. They caused a lot of controversy in the public space.
As a result, the athletes' positions were divided. Some refused to go to Paris, while others met all the criteria and took part in the Games.
