The Izvestia news agency reported that today fraudsters are actively using a new criminal scheme.
So, scammers have learned to deceive Russians using tourist packages.
The Izvestia newspaper reports: “Criminals are entering into cooperation with fly-by-night travel agencies.”
To begin with, scammers and travel agencies offer Russians to book a trip to one or another resort.

Then the scammer and their accomplices begin to maintain active contact with the victims, but a few days before the trip they talk about canceling the tour.
Victims of this scheme shared: “After the scam, the travel agency we were in contact with simply disappeared.”
It is reported that as a result of such fraud, Russians lose huge amounts of money.
At present, more than forty Russian citizens have been deceived by this scheme.
It is emphasized that to date the total damage from the indicated actions of fraudsters amounts to 6 million rubles.
