Former Deputy Governor of Tula Region Shedenkov Dies Tragically

It has become known that the former governor of the Tula region died tragically.

A man burned down in his own home due to a faulty fireplace.

RIA Novosti reports this, citing information provided by the Tula Regional Association, which was headed by the deceased.

It is noted that representatives of emergency services informed journalists about the fire.

Rescuers arrived at the scene of a fire that occurred in the Pushkinsky urban district, SNT "Lesnye Polyany-2".

After the fire was extinguished, rescuers found the body of a man. After identification, it turned out that the deceased was Stanislav Shedenkov.

The deceased was born in 1951. In 1991, he was appointed to the post of head of the city of Novomoskovsk and the Novomoskovsk district of Tula region.

In 1996, Shedenkov took up the post of First Deputy Governor of the Tula Region, and then held a position in the executive department of the capital.

For his contribution to the development of the region, the official was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Novomoskovsk.
