Modern times are associated with technology and innovation. Along with this, hacking of devices is also observed.
We will talk about the consequences of Wi-Fi hacking.
Hackers can hack Wi-Fi to monitor what a person does on the Internet. RIA Novosti reports details, citing leading cybersecurity analyst at MTS Web Services Dzhamil Medzhidov.
It is noted that by hacking Wi-Fi, attackers can collect personal data, attack smart devices, and install malware on a router.
According to Medzhidov, various signs may indicate that the router has been hacked, such as a decrease in Internet speed or the appearance of an unknown device on the network.
He noted that signs of hacking could also include third-party sites opening when visiting regular ones, and an abundance of advertising.
Medzhidov advised using complex passwords, changing the network name of the router, using Wi-Fi monitoring tools, and monitoring router firmware updates.
