It has become known which international organization is curtailing its activities in Russia.
We are talking about the humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF).
RIA Novosti reports this with reference to information from the department.
It is noted that Doctors Without Borders has been helping residents of Russia for 32 years. They worked in large Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, and also helped people in the regions of the Russian Federation.
Recently, members of the organization have been active in Belgorod and Rostov-on-Don.
However, in August, MSF's status in Russia was reviewed. The Ministry of Justice decided to exclude the organization from the list of branches and representative offices of foreign NGOs.
The corresponding official letter from the Russian department was received by Doctors Without Borders in August.
In connection with this decision, the humanitarian organization, in turn, decided to leave Russia.
It is with a heavy heart that we must cease our activities in Russia, MSF stressed.
