The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications has decided to completely block access to the messenger in Russia.
According to the department, such measures are necessary due to the fact that Discord has not removed prohibited materials.
We are talking about 947 publications, some of which remained in the public domain despite the warning from Roskomnadzor.
It is specified that in this way the administration violated Russian legislation, for which it was punished accordingly.
It is specified that Discord's activities were deemed prohibited due to the use of the messenger to recruit citizens for terrorist purposes, as well as the distribution of prohibited substances and the posting of illegal information.
