Biologist Ancha Baranova spoke about this with reference to scientists from the USA and China, writes AiF .

Chocolate is usually considered a delicacy served with tea or coffee. But this product has at least one unexpected property.

Regular consumption of dark chocolate reduces the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 20%.

White chocolate is completely devoid of nutrients. It does not reduce the risk of diabetes and can contribute to weight gain.
