If this indicator is higher than normal, then doctors first check the patient for possible blood diseases.
If they are excluded, then the problem is that the body does not have enough oxygen, Bokeria says in her Telegram channel.
In this case, we may be talking about diseases of the heart or blood vessels, as well as the lungs.
In addition, the doctor indicated normal hemoglobin levels.
Thus, for women it is within 120–140 g/l. For men the limits are slightly shifted upwards. The norm starts from 135 and reaches 160 g/l.
