Bulgarian visa centers are temporarily not accepting documents for Schengen visas in the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Official operator VFS Global announced a temporary suspension.
According to the new rules, the Bulgarian consulate in Moscow will not accept documents for type C visas in the period from August 1 to 18, Tourdom reports.
In St. Petersburg, the suspension of reception will be short-term.
The restriction will also come into force at the beginning of the month and will last until August 12.
Applicants who received slots for the above dates at the St. Petersburg office will have to re-register for other days.
The VFS Global press service did not report the reasons for the suspension.
Temporary restrictions have been adopted in connection with the transition to a new data processing model.
It is also noted that in this regard, the initial deadlines will be increased.
