Analysts have revealed how often Russians blackmail management with dismissal
Workers in Russia often use manipulation to achieve their goals at work.
According to a study by Zarplata.ru, every third employee blackmailed management with dismissal, and 77% of employees prefer to complain about personal problems.

The most popular methods of manipulating employees were:
- complaints about personal problems, flattery and excessive praise of superiors, omissions or distortion of facts about one’s problems, threats of dismissal, demonstration of an offer from another job.
Employees most often want to achieve a salary increase, changes in work schedule or work schedule, promotion, or the dismissal of other employees.
Every second employer has a negative attitude towards manipulation and is ready to fire employees for such actions.
However, management response methods may vary:
- 48% begin to manipulate in response, 45% openly demand that manipulation stop, 3% admit to the success of employee manipulation.
Some managers prefer to ignore manipulations, considering them insignificant.
Most employers quickly recognize the tricks of manipulators and are ready to respond to them harshly.
