The publication recalled that over the past two decades, companies have spent all their resources on improving touch screens.
However, recently there has been a trend towards equipping household appliances with various buttons, sliders and other physical controls.
It is noted that modern manufacturers are trying to open up to consumers the convenience of control not only with the help of touch panels, but also buttons.
Push-button control has its obvious advantages:
- tactility;
- ease of control;
- Possibility of use without visual contact.
The rethinking of push-button controls, which are now found on many devices from e-book readers to induction cookers, may eventually make its way to mobile devices.
