A hospice for terminally ill people will appear in the Samara Region within a few years. Details are reported by TASS , citing acting governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev and member of the Central Headquarters of the "People's Front" Anna Federmesser.
It is noted that the construction of the facility will take place within the framework of the region’s socio-economic development program.
According to Fedorishchev, after all the work is completed, a hospice with a large number of beds will appear in the region.
Federmesser noted that she has now seen the location where the future facility will be located.
It is added that the quality of care for patients with palliative status needs to be improved.
The Samara regional government concluded that the number of people who require palliative care is over 25 thousand adults and 305 children.
