40 mother and child rooms have been opened in Russian universities

The creation of mother and child rooms is a striking example of this.
Around 40 rooms for teachers and female students with children have appeared in dormitories and Russian educational institutions. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova.
It is noted that the number of rooms will gradually increase. In 2024, another 60 such places should open.
According to Petrova, the creation of the rooms is being carried out thanks to funding and the efforts of Russian universities.
She noted that by 2030 the total number of rooms should be at least 21 thousand.
“…We are striving for this,” she noted.
It is added that in 2025, a new national project “Family” will appear in Russia, which will be dedicated to young families who are students.
