12-year-old boy abused by stepfather undergoes surgery in Kuzbass
Details about the condition of the boy who was abused by his family have become known.
The child was given the necessary medical care to ensure that his life was out of danger.
The Minister of Health of Kuzbass Dmitry Beglov told RIA Novosti journalists about it.
It is noted that the victim is currently in Prokopyevsk, but they are planning to transport him to the regional hospital to provide further assistance.
As Beglov emphasized, the child’s condition is assessed as serious, but the threat to life has passed.
Circumstances of the case
Earlier, there was a report about a 12-year-old boy from Prokopyevsk who was abused by his stepfather.
The child had a broken leg and a cut lip, which they tried to stitch up at home. The 12-year-old boy was also starved.
All this torture forced the child to leave home on Tuesday, and he was found only two days later.
As the investigation established, not only the stepfather, who was arrested for two months, but also the child’s mother was involved in the torture.
