Volochkova on the idea of testing celebrities for alcohol: “What a disgrace”
The ballerina criticized the idea of deputies to test artists for alcohol before appearing on stage.
Anastasia Volochkova does not see the point in this initiative and believes that there are more important issues in the country.
The star strictly separates her personal and public life. She noted that in the first case, stars have the right to do whatever their heart desires.
But stars should not go on stage in an inadequate state, Volochkova emphasized on social media.
For ballet dancers, figure skaters, stuntmen, gymnasts, this is generally one of the main requirements. Nothing should disrupt the coordination of movements.
At the same time, the celebrity pointed out that the public has seen drunk stars more than once: “Yes, it exists.”
But Volochkova doesn't understand how the requirement to undergo alcohol testing applies to her.
She emphasized that she does not spare her feet for the sake of her shows: "With injuries, with mutilations, with calluses, I rub my feet until they bleed." There is no time for alcohol testing, the ballerina believes.
She called the deputies’ initiative “disgraceful” and suggested that they focus on other more pressing issues.
