Radio station UVB-76, known as the “Doomsday station”, once again surprised its listeners on December 17.

The hit “I am Russian” performed by the singer Shaman was broadcast.

RIA Novosti reported this with reference to the broadcast that took place on the YouTube channel. The radio station began broadcasting the track of Yaroslav Dronov, better known as Shaman, at about 22:32 Moscow time.

It is noted that the unusual broadcast did not end there. After the song was broadcast, the inscription "This is Gromel" appeared on the screen, and then the images of frequencies on the screen began to form animal figures.

At 23:08, the Buzzer broadcast the Russian anthem.

"Doomsday Station"

The radio station got its name because some people attribute it to being part of the Dead Hand system.

In the West, this is the name given to the supposedly existing system that can order a nuclear strike if the entire leadership of the country is killed by a nuclear strike.

The radio station is also called the "Buzzer" because it usually broadcasts monotonous programs. However, for some unknown reason, sometimes the device broadcasts unrelated words, phrases, or, as happened on December 17, songs.
