Pozner on his return to Channel One: “It’s both true and not true”
Vladimir Pozner commented on the information about his return to Channel One after a long break.
The journalist called the word “return” an exaggeration.
In a conversation with Lenta.ru , the TV presenter said that about a year and a half ago he had an idea for a documentary project about Turkey.
Posner's proposal interested the TV channel's producers, so it was decided to shoot a film called "Turkish Notebook".
The project was filmed and edited recently. The channel plans to include the program in the broadcasting grid.
The TV presenter said that he had not yet been officially notified that his documentary would be shown.
In this format, the journalist and the channel will probably collaborate. But Pozner would not call it a return.
“This is both true and untrue,” the TV presenter assessed the information in the media that he would again work on Channel One.
Pozner himself previously admitted that he would like to return to Russian television, but doubts that this will happen.
