The State Academic Maly Theatre announced its grave loss on the first day of September.
On Sunday, September 1, actor Alexei Kudinovich passed away.
The People's Artist of Russia died in Moscow at the age of 74. This was reported on the website of the Maly Theater, which Kudinovich served for more than 50 years.
Alexey Sergeevich was born on March 2, 1951. He is primarily known as a theater actor. Over half a century, he has performed about 70 roles on stage.
“Samson Silych Bolshov, Vosmibratov, Gibner – all these roles were played brilliantly, with inexhaustible creative imagination,” viewers assessed Kudinovich’s work.
His Akim in the play “The Power of Darkness” is singled out separately: “The brightest actor in the play <…> Not just a master – Talent!”
The public called him a genius, whose performance did not leave indifferent even those who were not particularly knowledgeable about the theater.
The actor's colleagues note that he knew how to be different on stage, but never "overdid it"; he had an excellent sense of proportion, which allowed him to organically and beautifully express the widest range of feelings and emotions.
Kudinovich has held the title of People's Artist since 2007. He also acted in films since the 1970s, but these were mostly small roles.
