The head of the Dalnegorsk district of Primorye, Aleksandr Terebilov, responded to a joke by actor Yuri Stoyanov that the mayor of Dalnegorsk allegedly appropriated 5 million rubles from the city budget.
In the program “100yans,” the actor played a news anchor and joked that the mayor “could have taken 25 million, like the head of the fictional Blizhnegorsk.
In his Telegram channel, Terebilov wrote that the scriptwriters could have looked at a map of the country before choosing city names for irony.
He emphasized that Dalnegorsk is a real city with real people and a history that deserves respect.
The mayor also noted that there is a big difference between satire and crude humor. He also expressed regret that the authors of the joke did not want to think about this.
Terebilov reproached the scriptwriters of the humorous plot, who, without understanding, ridiculed a Russian city with real people, avoiding making fun of their home cities.
