Alexander Dobrovinsky commented on rumors about the likelihood of Mikhail Efremov being released in 2024.
The lawyer stated that neither he nor his clients (the family of courier Sergei Zakharov) would be able to influence this process.
In a conversation with Gazeta.Ru , Dobrovinsky said that Efremov’s lawyers have the right to raise the issue of parole.
The local court will decide everything further. But, as the lawyer emphasizes, the court took Mikhail Olegovich's case quite seriously in 2020.
The reason was the actor's own actions. During the trial, he pretended to feel ill.
The defendant was taken to the hospital, but it later turned out that Efremov was in good health: “Acting skills are playing.”
Dobrovinsky could not accurately predict whether the artist would be released in 2024. The lawyer emphasized that the court would decide everything.
Earlier, the media reported that Efremov would allegedly receive the right to parole in December of this year. The reason given is the health condition of the 60-year-old actor.
