Yachtsman Yuri Firsov told how the disputes over the inheritance of the performer of the hit "Yagoda-Malina" ended.

Valentina Legkostupova's widower said he could have "taken full advantage," but ultimately refused his share.

August 14 will mark four years since the singer's death. At the end of summer 2020, a scandal erupted in the media. Relatives and the public accused Firsov of getting 54-year-old Legkostupova drunk and murdering her.

But four years later the situation was resolved and now Firsov, in a conversation with NEWS.ru , told how it all ended.

The yachtsman shared that he could have inherited property worth around 10 million rubles.

But Firsov put the apartment in order and in the summer of 2023 he gave it to the singer’s second husband as a gift.

Before this, the widower transferred his shares in the Moscow region house and car to Legkostupova’s daughter.

“I believe that I endured this situation with dignity and survived,” Firsov shared.

The singer's children accused Firsov of assault against their mother and probable involvement in her death.

But law enforcement officers conducted an investigation and concluded that the artist received serious injuries as a result of an accident.
