Actor from the TV series "Life and Fate" Vladimir Zimnikov Dies

Soviet and Russian theater and film actor Vladimir Zimnikov has died.

He died at the age of 75, continuing to perform on stage until his last days.

The artist's death was announced by the Samara Youth Theatre "SamArt".

The theatre’s statement emphasizes that Zimnikov was involved in the Brecht play “The Good Person of Szechuan” until the very end.

The actor, according to his colleagues, was distinguished by exceptional kindness and responsiveness.

Vladimir Zimnikov was born on September 29, 1950.

He graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography in 1972.

The actor first appeared on stage at the Leningrad Maly Drama Theatre in the play “The Fate of the Drummer”.

For many years Zimnikov worked on the stage of the Kuibyshev drama theaters and at the Bryansk State Drama Theater.

In "SamArt" he worked with iconic directors. He was also involved in the plays "Fathers and Sons", "Woe from Wit", "Khanuma" and many others.

Zimnikov was remembered by a wide range of viewers for his role in the television series Life and Fate and the drama Zoya.
