YouTube stopped working for some Russians on August 8.

Problems with access to YouTube have been reported in various regions of Russia.
The portal has received over four thousand complaints. Most users report the problem from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai and Sverdlovsk Oblast.
Russians complain that when they try to open a website, a message appears stating that there is no connection.
Videos are partially downloaded via mobile Internet, but access via Wi-Fi is limited.

The first outage in YouTube's operation in Russia became known on August 1.
At that time, users reported problems when launching videos and operating the video hosting application.
Complaints most often came from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Samara and Kazan.
The State Duma noted that the slowdown was caused by technical problems and does not affect the operation of Google applications.
