A new fraudulent scheme that is being used by criminals has come to light.

Now they are using the popular Telegram messenger and the Wildberries marketplace to steal users' confidential data.

The press service of the Department for the Organization of Combating Crimes in the Sphere of Information and Communication Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia warned Russians about this in its Telegram channel.

According to the agency, the deception was carried out using a well-known phishing method.

The potential victim receives an offer to subscribe to the official website and the Wildberries Telegram channel for entrepreneurs.

However, the domain "WILDBERRIESWORLD . XYZ" is indicated and a prompt appears to enter a telephone number in international format.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded, no authorization is required to subscribe to Wildberries official channels.

In this way, the scammers hope to find marketplace suppliers who will enter their data, thereby losing access to their Telegram account.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs called on Russians to be vigilant in order not to lose their property.
