Scientists have found out what is happening with the Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica.

Experts have identified alarming changes in education that will inevitably impact the entire planet.

The CNN portal shared the experts' frightening conclusions.

It is noted that the Thwaites Glacier was not in vain dubbed the Doomsday Glacier. Its destruction will inevitably affect the entire planet and lead to catastrophic consequences for the Earth.

Having penetrated inside the natural formation with the help of underwater robots, scientists came to the disappointing conclusion that the glacier is melting at a much faster rate than they had previously assumed.

As a result, within the next 200 years, the Doomsday Glacier will disappear, and this will primarily affect the level of the world's oceans.

According to preliminary estimates, it could rise by 3 meters and initiate the rapid destruction of other glaciers in Antarctica.

In addition, scientists have not ruled out that in the near future the formation will only melt faster due to warm water penetrating into its cracks.
