Russians Revealed How to Save 70% on Air Conditioning Bills
A trick has been revealed for owners of air conditioners that will help cool the room in the heat and save on the electricity bill.
The advice was shared by therapist Asya Simbirtseva, whose comment is published on the Fomin Clinic page on VKontakte.
The expert cites data from a study by scientists from Australia, which was published in the journal The Lancet Planetary Health.
They came to the conclusion that there is no need to use the air conditioner at full power when there is a fan. Their joint work will allow both to freshen the room and not to go broke on electricity bills.
The air conditioner should be set to +27°C. At the same time, turn on a regular fan. As a result, the room will be comfortable at +23°C.
At the same time, energy costs associated with using an air conditioner will be reduced by 70%.
But the therapist clarified that there is no point in using a fan at +35°C. In this case, the device simply “drives” warm air. At +40°C, the fan may even slightly heat the air.
