Russia Creates First “Double-Headed” 3D Printer
Russian scientists have managed to create innovative technology for 3D printing.

Vyatka State University is working on a promising area called multi-material printing.
The essence of this method of 3D printing is the simultaneous use of materials with different properties. This method also allows you to create models of different colors.
Existing multi-material printers require human control, but scientists from Vyatka have managed to create a device where printing will be automated.
Thanks to a hybrid print head consisting of two devices, the 3D printer invented by Russian scientists can print a so-called “shell” (frame) and fill it with a gel or paste-like substance.
The innovative invention will make it possible to create textured multi-colored products, as well as items with different physical and mechanical properties in different areas.
