Microsoft has advised users not to update Windows due to a serious glitch.

The company reported that the problem is related to the Windows 11 version 24H2 update.

On computers with the Voicemeeter application installed, a BSOD error known as MEMORY_MANAGEMENT occurs due to the Voicemeeter driver, writes the Neowin portal.

The company acknowledged that the issue was so serious that the 24H2 update was rolled back for some users.

Now when you try to update via Windows Update, this update will not be available.

Microsoft strongly recommends that users do not perform manual updates due to potential failures.

As a temporary solution, it is suggested to remove Voicemeeter along with its components.

After this, the update ban will be lifted within 24 hours.

Users can also wait for a new version of the program that will be compatible with Windows 11 24H2.
