Neuralink's experiments extend beyond the US.

Elon Musk's project will be tested on volunteers from Canada.

This was reported on the website of the press service of the Canadian hospital network University Health Network (UHN).

Testing of the brain chip in the USA is going well, so it was decided to expand the geography of the work.

Neuralink will recruit volunteers in Canada, but will first receive approval from local health officials.

Experts will assess whether the implant is safe, as will the robotic surgeon.

Canadian specialists will also look at the capabilities of a wireless computer that helps people with paralysis of all limbs control devices with the power of thought.

UHN is excited to get started. The medical and scientific community is pleased that their institution has the chance to be at the forefront of neurosurgical research.
