AvtoVAZ invested a record amount in preparation for the release of new Lada
Every year, the joint-stock company "AvtoVAZ" organizes a corporate vacation.
At this time, the entire production is preparing to restart the work cycle.
This year the holiday runs from July 29 to August 18.
And a record amount of additional expenses in recent years has been spent on modernizing production – about 600 million rubles.
The modernization includes major purchases of components, repairs and expansion of production capacity, and improvement of working conditions.
During the first three weeks, equipment, including new equipment, was tested and adjusted.
Specialists have prepared two models of Lada Aura and Lada e-Largus in Izhevsk for launch in Tolyatti in the 3rd quarter of this year.
The Lada Granta line has already been modernized. The production of the new Iskra model family will be launched there in early 2025
No less important for the management are the working conditions of its employees and the household infrastructure. A large volume of work has also been carried out in this direction.
It is during corporate vacations that a base of auto components is created for the prompt restart of production and the smooth operation of the automobile plant.
The official start of work on all assembly lines will take place on August 19.
