Summer 2024 is rapidly breaking records set last year.

Abnormal temperatures are recorded in Russia and different parts of the planet.

There is an obvious effect of heat on a person: overheating, stress on the cardiovascular system, discomfort, etc.

But at the same time, scientists say, such weather affects people’s behavior, TASS reports.

It has been proven that in hot weather a person becomes more irritable. The tendency to violence increases.

Scientists associate this with an increase in the levels of cortisol, adrenaline and testosterone in the blood.

Heat worsens a person's overall psychological state. This is especially dangerous for people with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

People with increased anxiety also suffer.

Performance deteriorates. A person spends more energy on cooling the body, which affects his productivity.

Heat stroke threatens those whose bodies are poorly adapted to self-cooling. This is an internal mechanism that helps a person cope with high ambient temperatures.

In addition, scientists have learned that 100% humidity combined with heat of +35°C can lead to death.
