Scientists from the Universities of Lausanne and Bern have created an artificial intelligence model for diagnosing cancer.
It is indicated that we are talking about the VirtualMultiplexer program, which is currently the leading one in this field.
As reported by the foreign scientific journal MedicalXpress , the innovation creates coloring of cancerous tissues.
It is expected that this development will be able to successfully contribute to the treatment of relevant diseases.
The scientists noted: “Our development could help avoid expensive laboratory studies.”
In particular, VirtualMultiplexer visualizes cellular markers by staining them.
Thus, the program shows a virtual version of cancerous tissue or tumors as they could be seen using laboratory reagents.
The researchers emphasized that the images obtained through the above-described innovation are accurate and clinically useful.
