Woman fictitiously registered 60 migrants in Kamchatka
The illegal activities of a Kamchatka resident have become known.
The woman registered 60 migrants in her apartment, receiving money for her services.
The press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Kamchatka Krai reported the incident on its Telegram channel.
The identity of the resident of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky has been established. Currently, a preventive measure has been chosen for her in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and to behave properly.
Circumstances of the case
As the investigation revealed, the 53-year-old local resident was engaged in illegal activities from January 2022 until September 2024.
During this period, the woman managed to register about 60 foreigners in her living space, although the woman did not intend to provide them with a place to live.
For each registration, the resident of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky received a monetary reward from the migrants, the amount of which was not specified.
It is noted that the migrants themselves passed on information about the suspect’s services to each other.
