Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili commented on the EU and US restrictions against Tbilisi.
The West has suspended the process of European integration and aid to Georgia due to anti-Western rhetoric.
According to Zurabishvili, the government’s anti-European and anti-Western rhetoric was the reason for the restrictions introduced.
On Tuesday, EU Ambassador to Tbilisi Pawel Gerchinsky announced the decision of EU leaders to suspend Georgia's European integration process.
It also became known that 30 million euros, which were previously planned to be transferred to Georgia to strengthen its defense capability, have been frozen.
The US also abandoned the military exercises planned in Georgia.
Zurabishvili wrote on her social media account that the West responded in this way to the non-transparent actions of the Georgian government.
Earlier, the EU announced when the “doors will close” for Georgia .
