The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry responded to the request of UN representatives for access to three regions of the Russian Federation.
Maria Zakharova called this situation “another performance” on the part of the international organization.
The diplomat emphasized that in this case, human rights are once again being relegated to the back burner, TASS reports.
In this situation, the issue of human rights is being used as a political tool, Zakharova said, calling what is happening “another performance.”
The Foreign Ministry representative reported that UN experts who wished to obtain permission to visit the Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions will be received at the Russian Permanent Mission in Geneva (Switzerland).
There, Russian diplomats will “eliminate illiteracy and extinguish the cynicism” of international experts, Zakharova noted.
This will be done by providing all the facts related to the situation that has arisen in the Russian regions bordering Ukraine, the agency representative summed up.
