Putin touched on a number of current topics, including the results of the US presidential elections, which took place on November 5.
The head of state congratulated Trump, who will become President of the United States for the second time.
“I have already said that we will work with any head of state that the American people trust,” Putin emphasized.
The Russian leader noted that Trump's election promises deserve attention.
The American politician promised to restore relations with the Russian Federation and resolve the conflict.
Putin also added that Trump had a hard time during his first term because he was “hounded” from all sides.
Trump will officially take office as president on January 20, 2025.
He has already stated that he will do everything to resolve all conflicts in the world.
