It has become known what measures the head of the European Commission resorted to in relation to the Serbian Prime Minister.
Ursula von der Leyen cancelled her meeting with the politician because he was meeting with his Russian counterpart.
This was reported by the TASS agency, citing confirmation received by French media.
Let us recall that on Friday in the Serbian capital Belgrade a meeting was held between the head of the country's government, Milos Vucevic, and the Russian Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov.
It was planned that during the meeting, representatives of the two states would discuss the implementation of joint Russian-Serbian projects.
It turned out that this meeting did not escape the attention of European officials.
EU Ambassador to Serbia Emmanuel Joffre stressed that Ursula von der Leyen will not meet with the country's Prime Minister.
It is noted that the EC assessed this step on the part of Belgrade as an effort to strengthen economic relations with Moscow.
