The Chairman of the State Duma initiated proceedings against deputy Yuri Napso.

A member of the lower house of parliament has not attended plenary sessions for almost two years.

Vyacheslav Volodin has ordered an investigation into this issue, RIA Novosti reports.

The State Duma Speaker was informed that Napso probably requires treatment.

The Chairman emphasized that it is necessary to deal with this deputy. If we are talking about treatment, then "what, where, where, how."

If the problem is different, then the question of releasing Napso from his parliamentary duties should be raised.

Volodin gave one specific order: “There was one question: decide what happened to him [Napso].”

Today, MP Yuriy Napso is an active member of the lower house of parliament.

Representatives of relevant committees will deal with its further fate in the State Duma.

It is noted that after a long absence, Napso has no grounds to retain his parliamentary mandate.
